This activity book is filled with puzzles, activities, and coloring pages. One particular activity, entitled "Stay Afloat," utilizes a pirate theme to teach children the basics of life jacket safety. Basic seamanship is a theme throughout the book, and activities include learning the various parts of a boat (kids color a pirate ship), tying marine knots, and the reason for and proper utilization of anchors.
