You're certain to find a number of brands that will fit your needs and budget.
So, which is right for you? As with autos, differing prices generally equate to amenities and size. All boats sold in Ohio must meet U.S. Coast Guard safety standards. Regardless of the boat you select, you can relax. It's not a marriage - you're not making a lifelong commitment to that particular boat. That's because most boaters trade in what they have at some point in the future as their experience grows and their needs change. |
Remember, the dealer that ultimately sells the boat to you will be your partner for expert advice and service not just at the time of purchase, but for years to come. He or she will listen carefully to what you explain you want in a boat, identify your expectations, take into account the budget you've set, and then make considered recommend-ations. You should feel a rapport with your dealer and there should be evidence of a genuine interest in helping you arrive at your goal. If that relationship isn't developing, move on to another dealer who does exhibit a personal interest in your boating success. The point is, when you're shopping for a boat, you're also shopping for a dealer with whom you feel comfortable.
